Our Editor's Take

"Original," "authentic," and "empathetic" are the words the hosts of Million Dollaz Worth of Game want their podcast associated with. Famed Philly rapper Gillie Da King and his influencer cousin Wallo267 started the show due to simple demand. They both had big online followings and kept getting asked when they would do a podcast. They felt nobody was talking about what young people wanted to hear about. And there wasn't anybody talking about those topics the way they could. So they started broadcasting Million Dollaz Worth of Game. The only goal was to be themselves for their audience.

The show's primary topic is music. Hip-hop and R&B artists appear, from Burna Boy to Babyface. But Gillie and Wallo welcome all kinds of guests to their studio. NBA and NFL stars like Kevin Durant and Aaron Donald also join the pair. Comedians like HaHa Davis show up too. Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy also makes an appearance.

The hosts see it as an obligation to either talk about music and sports or laugh it up with their guests for 90 minutes. They're still only being themselves, but the show's goal has expanded a bit. They also have more general conversations about life and themselves. They're keen to offer life advice to younger listeners too. New episodes of the podcast drop every week.
