Our Editor's Take

The Fox News Rundown podcast delivers the latest news, twice a day. This podcast is not an audio clip from a Fox News TV program. It is a standalone show produced by Fox News Radio. Each morning, an episode details the biggest news stories of the day. Each evening, the hosts discuss another topic of national or international interest.

Fox News often spotlights conservative political commentary. The Fox News Rundown focuses on current events and ongoing news stories. People from all political perspectives may appreciate this podcast. The nature of a news program is that the subjects can be different each day, but war, politics, schools, and natural disasters are frequent topics on this show. So are health issues, the economy, and immigration.

Dave Anthony, Lisa Brady, Mike Emanuel, Chris Foster, Alex Hogan, and Jessica Rosenthal host The Fox News Rundown podcast. Each host is a well-informed, proficient journalist. Often they'll interview real-life sources to ensure information is credible. Each 15 to 30-minute episode is engaging and filled with fresh topics. The show's consistent format helps keep it informative and straightforward.

Listeners will appreciate the variety of topics in The Fox News Rundown podcast. Sometimes the show will mention how the anniversary of a historic event is affecting the world today. Other times, it'll be a discussion of coming changes in a particular industry or field. This podcast is excellent for those who already enjoy Fox News.

Vice President On Defense Over Disaster Response, Liberal Record

Vice President On Defense Over Disaster Response, Liberal Record
The Southeast is still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene and now Hurricane Milton. Florida faced direct hits from both of those hurricanes, with damages estimated in the billions of dollars. Vice President Harris is on defense on the campaign trail over the readiness of FEMA for both hurricanes and is also attempting to curate a more moderate image ahead of Election Day. The Vice President has also recruited former Presidents Obama and Clinton to stump for her in swing states, as polls show the race is tightening. Congressman Mike Waltz (R-FL-6) joins the Rundown to discuss the relief efforts in his state, what he has thought of the federal response to the hurricanes, why he believes Vice President Harris does not have a clear message for the future of America, and shares details from his new book Hard Truths: Think And Lead Like A Green Beret. With just weeks to go until Election Day, both campaigns are working to court minority groups in swing states. Pundits are predicting that the Hispanic vote may be the key to win states like Arizona and Pennsylvania. With that, FOX is launching a new Spanish language news program, on FOX Deportes, called FOX Noticias that will look to bring news of the day to the nation's Spanish speaking population. FOX & Friends Weekend Co-Host and FOX Noticias Anchor Rachel Campos-Duffy joins the Rundown to discuss why this was the right time to launch the program, why the Hispanic population in the United States is so unique, and what kind of news they will be delivering on the program.  Plus, commentary from Director of the FOX News Decision Desk Arnon Mishkin. Why The Presidential Polls Won’t Budge

Why The Presidential Polls Won’t Budge
Four weeks remain until the presidential election, and while both Vice President Harris and former President Trump have been stumping in numerous states around the country, it does not seem to be making much difference in the polls. Both campaigns are looking to secure fractions of percentages in swing states in order to secure a win, and many experts predict the election could come down to thousands of votes in places like Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Managing Editor for Sabato's Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia Center for Politics Kyle Kondik joins the Rundown to discuss why the polls are not moving ahead of Election Day and what issues are factoring into Americans' voting decisions. Days after Hurricane Helene caused major damage across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, another major storm is on the way. FOX Weather has upgraded Hurricane Milton to a Category 5 storm, whose path is heading up the coast of Florida. The threats of a fresh severe weather event are prompting mass evacuations in the Sunshine State as homes and businesses are still actively recovering from Hurricane Helene only weeks ago. Many Americans are under the impression that flood damage is covered under their homeowner's insurance; however, that is not the case. Mark Friedlander, director of corporate communications at the Insurance Information Institute, joins to share how people can make sure their home has the proper coverage in the wake of a national disaster. Plus, commentary by Jake Matthews, Director of Media Services at JLK Political Strategies. Photo Credit: AP Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
